Join TPA at the Sedgwick County Zoo September 12th for the TPA Homeschool STEAM Day at the Zoo! New this year are hands-on STEAM activities to enjoy as a family at your own pace. Activities will be in various locations in the Zoo and Cargill Learning Center. STEAM activities have easy to follow directions so parents can lead the family in the hands-on lessons. We are excited to offer Future Maker Lab from WSU Tech! The goal of this mobile lab is to educate Kansans by bringing these in-demand careers to their doorsteps through the use of technology. In this mobile lab students will experience actual and virtual tools that are used in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers identified as high-demand throughout Kansas and the United States. The lab will capture the interest of middle - high school students through exploration of STEM education using virtual reality, information technology and hands-on experiences and challenges. Reduced admission is $5.25/person. Reduced admission hours: 9:00 a.m. - noon
